Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect personal information, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.

Effective: 12 August 2026 Last updated: 9 September 2026 Version: 1.1

1. Who we are

FLVR is a trading name of Hanetset Asrat, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Hanetset Asrat is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

  • Address for service: Flat 13, Pathway Lodge, 91 London Road, Mitcham, CR4 2GH, United Kingdom
  • Email: contact@flvr.uk

We are not currently required to register with the Information Commissioner's Office as a fee payer; if that changes we will publish the registration number here.

2. Information we collect

  • Customer information — name, business name, address, email, telephone and the services you've bought.
  • Contact forms — what you send us through the contact, complaints and abuse forms, including any files you attach.
  • Domain registration information — where a domain is arranged as part of your project, the registrant details the registry requires. We do not hold domains for customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Accounts — login details for any systems we set up for you (passwords are stored by those systems, not by us in plain text).
  • Payments — invoice and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not by us.
  • Cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

3. Marketing

We only send marketing where you've asked for it or where we're permitted to contact an existing customer about similar services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

5. Who we share information with

  • Domain registries and registrars — only where a domain is arranged as part of your project, and only the registrant details they require.
  • Hosting providers — where your page or email is hosted.
  • Payment processors — to take and record payments.
  • Professional advisers and law enforcement — where we're legally required to disclose information.

We don't sell personal information. We name the provider handling your information on request.

6. Data retention

We keep customer records for as long as you're a customer and afterwards where we need them for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. Accounting records: 6 years. Enquiries that don't become customers: 12 months. Abuse reports and complaints: 3 years.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including access controls and secure connections. See our Security page for what we do and don't claim.

8. International transfers

Where a provider we use stores information outside the UK, we make sure an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law is in place.

9. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you (a subject access request)
  • Have inaccurate information corrected
  • Ask for information to be deleted, where we don't need to keep it
  • Ask us to restrict how we use it
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing
  • Ask for your information to be provided in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it

To exercise any of these, email contact@flvr.uk. We'll respond within the period required by law. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

10. Complaints to the ICO

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if our processing changes, with a new version number and date.
