UK Domain Information
FLVR does not sell or provide domain registration services to customers. This page sets out our position and the status of our Nominet application.
Our current status
FLVR does not sell, register, renew or manage domain names on behalf of customers.
We are preparing an application to Nominet for the appropriate status in respect of domains registered for our own business and portfolio. Until that application has been determined we make no claim of Nominet membership, accreditation, partnership or approval, and we display no registry logos or badges. This page will be updated to reflect whatever status is actually granted.
1. What we do
We design and build digital business cards and bio pages. That is the service we sell.
2. What we do not do
We are not a domain registrar and we do not offer domain registration as a service. We do not hold domains on behalf of customers, we do not take payment for registrations or renewals, and we do not manage a customer's domain portfolio.
If you need a domain name, you register it yourself with whichever registrar you prefer. It is registered in your name, you hold it directly, and you can move it whenever you like without involving us.
3. Domains used with a page we build
Where a project needs a domain, one of two things happens:
- You register the domain in your own name and tell us the details, and we point it at the page we have built for you; or
- Where we have arranged a domain as part of the work, it is transferred into your name once the work is complete, together with the page itself.
Either way the domain ends up held by you, with a registrar and a hosting provider of your choosing. We do not retain control of it.
4. If this changes
If domain registration and management for customers ever becomes a regular part of what we do, we will review the appropriate Nominet tag and, where required, move to the relevant Channel Partner arrangement before offering that service. Nothing on this site will advertise domain registration until that is in place.
5. Registry rules
Domains are subject to the applicable registry's rules and policies, which sit above anything agreed between us. Registration only takes effect when the registry records it, and renewal, expiry, transfer and dispute processes are operated by the registry, not by us.
For the definitive rules covering UK domains, refer to the registry's own published terms and policies. We do not reproduce or summarise registry rules on this site, so that nothing here can become inaccurate or out of date.
6. Resellers
The business does not operate a reseller programme. If that changes, the relevant policies and compliance arrangements will be reviewed before any resellers are introduced.
